So Sad To See Jenny’s Moving Out!
I am so sad to see that South Carolina’s First Lady, Jenny Sanford, is moving out of the governor’s mansion. I was really hoping that since Governor Sanford and Jenny were trying to work things out, that the marriage would work and heal, and everything would be o.k., and I feel so badly for the Sanford kids!

Obama Gets It!
My respect for Barack Obama increased today! He called John McCain a hero in a speech. He’s all about working together. No two people will ever agree on all things. It’s all about standing united, though, in what we want to accomplish in the grand scheme of things. It’s about finding common ground! That’s what America needs big-time!

Warsaw High School Students and Staff Attending Inauguration!
Neat article here!
I went to high school with Dave Hoffert, the teacher of the class that is going. It’s pretty cool that they get to go see history being made in person.
I have to work during the inauguration, but I may be able to watch some of it on some closed-captioned televisions that are at my workplace.
Keep checking the website above where the article is, because David Slone, the author, is on hand with the class, and will be filing daily reports.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King is one of my heroes! I am so thankful for all that he did in the area of civil rights and promoting racial equality! He would be so excited to see Barack Obama taking the oath of office tomorrow. We finally have an African American president! Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream is being lived out. On this day, when we specifically remember him, I wanted to pay tribute to him here on my blog.
